Vibora Liverpool Waters brings padel to the water at Princes Dock, offering players an unrivalled setting surrounded by Liverpool’s world-famous skyline and historic docklands

The UK’s first floating padel destination has officially been unveiled at Liverpool Waters in Princes Dock, bringing one of the world’s fastest-growing sports directly onto the water in the heart of Liverpool.

With the Liver Building and Liverpool’s iconic skyline providing the backdrop, Vibora Liverpool Waters will give players the chance to step onto floating courts and play padel surrounded by the history and heritage of the city’s docklands.

Launching with two purpose-built floating padel courts and its Club House, Vibora Liverpool Waters has been created as much around its destination as the sport itself; transforming a unique piece of Liverpool’s waterfront into somewhere to play, meet, socialise and experience the city from an entirely new perspective.

Opening on Saturday 26th September, Vibora Liverpool Waters has already been inundated with enquiries and memberships.

The destination will welcome players seven days a week from 7am until 10pm, with the experience set to transform as day turns to night and Liverpool’s waterfront and landmark buildings light up around the courts.

A third floating padel court is already planned to follow later this year to meet the growing demand, marking the next phase in Vibora Liverpool Waters’ development and further expanding the destination.

The launch also sees Vibora Liverpool Waters become part of the continuing transformation of Liverpool’s historic northern docks by regeneration specialists Peel Waters.

Liverpool Waters is a major long-term regeneration project with more than £5bn being invested in the transformation of the waterfront.

With new homes, businesses, leisure destinations and public spaces being created across the area, Vibora Liverpool Waters adds a new sport and social experience to Princes Dock  and another reason for people to visit and spend time on Liverpool’s waterfront.

Founding Membership gives its first members the opportunity to be among the first to experience the courts

The opening follows significant interest in Vibora Liverpool Waters since plans for the destination were first announced, with just 75 exclusive Founding Memberships released ahead of launch.

Created for those wanting to be part of Vibora Liverpool Waters from the very beginning, Founding Membership gives its first members the opportunity to be among the first to experience the courts, alongside priority booking and exclusive membership benefits.

Now welcoming the wider public, Vibora Liverpool Waters has been designed for everyone from complete beginners picking up a padel racket for the first time to experienced players looking for somewhere completely different to play.

Courts are priced at £55 for a 60-minute booking, with all bookings made through Playtomic.

Sitting alongside the courts, Vibora Liverpool Waters’ Club House forms the social heart of the destination, giving players and visitors somewhere to meet and spend time before and after stepping onto court.

Individual memberships are available alongside dedicated corporate memberships, with Vibora Liverpool Waters offering businesses a new way to bring teams together through sport, wellbeing and social experiences.

The destination is also available for corporate events and private event space hire, providing an alternative waterfront setting for everything from team building and networking to client entertainment and brand events.
