Trafford Waters comprises four distinctive neighbourhoods.  All Saints, Barton Banks, the Commercial Hub and Urban Village.  Together they will bring new homes, workplaces, green spaces and amenities to create a vibrant waterside community.  Drawing on the areas’ heritage, waterfront setting and strategic location, the neighbourhoods will combine residential, commercial, leisure and community uses to create a well-connected and sustainable place for future generations.

More than 20 acres of publicly accessible open space will be delivered across the development, including parks, waterfront promenades, play areas and public realm that encourage recreation, wellbeing and everyday connection with nature.   Key features will include Central Park, Barton Banks Waterside Park and All Saints Village Green, helping to create one of Greater Manchester’s most landscape-led new communities.

Nature is central to the Trafford Waters vision.  Through new parks, tree-lined streets, waterside landscapes and ecological habitats, the destination will create a greener environment that supports biodiversity, encourages active lifestyles and strengthens connections to both the Manchester Ship Canal and Bridgewater Canal.

Trafford Waters is being designed as a walkable and well-connected neighbourhood, with new pedestrian and cycle routes linking homes, green spaces, workplaces and amenities.  Excellent access to public transport, including Metrolink, and buss services, will connect residents to TraffordCity, Manchester city centre and the wider region.
