New Park, Waterfront Walks and Bridges Progress at Central Docks

Our latest drone footage captures significant progress at Central Docks, where work continues at pace to create new public spaces, infrastructure and waterfront routes.

Across the site, profile grading is now underway within Central Park as drainage works progress, helping shape the future green space that will become a focal point for the neighbourhood. Along River Walk South, historic dock cobbles have been carefully cleaned, reclaimed and reinstated, celebrating the area’s rich maritime heritage while creating an attractive new waterfront route.

Elsewhere, sub-base installation, kerbing and drainage works have been completed to prepare Dock Wall Walk for surfacing, while utility ducting continues to advance as works on Park Street and River Walk near completion.

Construction is also progressing on key infrastructure projects across the site. Concrete works for both the pedestrian bridge and road bridge have advanced significantly, with preparations underway for bridge installation, alongside pile cap and wing wall works. Demolition of the former screening chamber is also continuing, paving the way for future central infrastructure and platform construction.

Watch the latest drone update below to see how Central Docks is continuing to take shape and bringing the vision for Liverpool Waters to life.
