Watch this incredible spectacle

Our latest Peel Waters drone footage captures an incredible spectacle -hundreds of motorcyclists arriving and departing via the Isle of Man Ferry Terminal at Liverpool Waters as part of the world-famous Isle of Man TT Races.

Each year, the TT transforms the Liverpool waterfront into a gateway for riders and fans from across the globe, with The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company ferries bringing a constant flow of visitors to-and-from The Isle of Man, through Liverpool Waters.

The Isle of Man Ferry Terminal itself is a landmark piece of infrastructure. Delivered with an investment of around £70m+, the terminal opened to passengers in June 2024 as a new permanent base for Steam Packet operations, creating a modern, purpose-built passenger and freight facility. The terminal was recently recognised at the Architects’ Journal Awards, winning the Infrastructure & Transport Project category for its outstanding design and innovation.

Whilst the impact of the TT is just as powerful, attracting over 50,000 visitors to the Isle of Man with visitors contributing an estimated £50m+ to the local economy during the TT period alone. The event continues to grow year-on-year, cementing its position as one of the world’s most iconic motorsport events.

Moments like this demonstrate the vital role Liverpool Waters plays as a regional and international gateway – supporting major events, connecting communities, and bringing energy, movement and opportunity to the waterfront.

Take a look at the footage and experience the scale for yourself.
